Registering with Surrey Community

To take part in a SurreyCommunity.info site or to apply for your own site, you'll need to register with us. This takes about two minutes and all you need is a valid email address.

Once you have registered, you can:

  • Apply to join community websites on SurreyCommunity.info
  • Apply for your own community website

Note: You don't need to register if you just want to visit and read SurreyCommunity.info websites. However, if you want to participate on a site (for example, by posting something to a discussion forum or commenting on a blog) you'll need to register and then join the site that you are interested in.  Some sites also provide extra features for their members that aren't available to the general public.

 

To register with SurreyCommunity.info

  • Go to the SurreyCommunity.info homepage
  • Click on the Register link in the black bar towards the top of the page.
  • Fill in your details on the form that appears. Make sure that you type your email address correctly otherwise you won't get the confirmation email!
  • Click the OK button.
  • You will be asked to agree to our terms and conditions. Tick the box and click the OK button.

The system will send you a confirmation email and this should arrive within a few minutes. You'll need to click on the link in the email to complete your registration.

If you don't receive a confirmation email, check that it isn't in your email program's spam/junk mail folder. If the confirmation email hasn't arrived, contact us at enquiries@surreycommunity.info with details of your name and the email address that you used to register with.
